Use Astil TV With Kodi Setup

General Use Devices (PCs and Tablets)

Step 1:

Download the repository installer found here

• It will be saved as repository.jellyfin.kodi.zip

Step 2:

Install the Jellyfin repository.

• Open Kodi, go to the settings menu, and navigate to "Add-on Browser"
• Select "Install from Zip File"
• If prompted, enter settings and enable "Unknown Sources", then go back to the Add-on Browser
• Select the newly downloaded file and it will be installed

Step 3:

Once the zip has been installed navigate to where it says "install from a repository"
Open the repository jellyfin repo

• Open the jellycon Add-On
• Install JellyCon

Step 4:

Run Jellycon
When it propmts to use a local server press cancle

• Select use external server
  Enter the host address https://tv.view.astil-industries.com
• Press Connect
  Enter your account details or use quick connect if you are already connected on another device

"Embedded" Devices (Android TV, Firestick, and other TV Boxes)

Step 1:

Open Kodi, go to the settings menu, and navigate to "File manager"

• Select "Add source"
  In the text box, enter https://kodi.jellyfin.org
• Enter a name for the data source, such as "Jellyfin Repo" and select Ok

Step 2:

From the settings menu, navigate to "Add-on Browser"
Select "Install from Zip File"

• If prompted, enter settings and enable "Unknown Sources", then go back to the Add-on Browser
• Select the data source you just added
• Install repository.jellyfin.kodi.zip

Step 3:

Once the zip has been installed navigate to where it says "install from a repository"
Open the repository jellyfin repo

• Open the jellycon Add-On
• Install JellyCon

Step 4:

Run Jellycon
When it propmts to use a local server press cancle

• Select use external server
  Enter the host address https://tv.view.astil-industries.com
• Press Connect
  Enter your account details or use quick connect if you are already connected on another device
